Yoga Somatics & Meditation
Aromatherapy and Ayuverdic approach.
12-14 June 2020
(3 days / 2 nights)
(in English & Spanish)
The retreat in June 2020 will take place in the same beautiful location and old winery as in previous years. It is situated approximately 45-60 min drive from Valencia City. All activities will be bilingual, English with translation into Spanish. There will be time between Somatic yoga or meditation classes to simply wander along the quiet roads or stroll down to the nearby lagoon, which is visible from the house.
You will have also star-gazing, some healthy cooking ideas, use of some essential oils, and Irish music tuition. Yoga Somatics Valencia will also provide a short Reiki session (free) and aromatherapy massage on demand (not included in the package).
This retreat will be suitable for beginners, advanced students, and yoga teachers who want to revise or add a somatic approach to their own practice.

THE LOCATION
Casa Hoya de Hueli is an authentic 19th century spanish vineyard and farm that has been in the same family for generations. Although no longer in commercial use, the house and workers quarters and the old wine pressing rooms and barrels are unaltered since Alvaro, the current owner, was a child. The house itself retains most of its original features and is a wonderful example of a Valencian-style farmhouse. Both the house and surrounding fields are set high in the mountains, with beautiful vistas to all sides and a wonderful sense of peace and tranquility. The house has its own well and water supply and is powered through solar panels.

THE RETREAT
This Yoga Somatic retreat is suitable for all levels and includes both guided and non-guided meditations. Casa Hoya is the perfect setting for this retreat and an opportunity for anyone wishing to disconnect from the cacophony of urban living and rediscover their own equilibrium and inner harmony. There will be time between classes to simply wander along the quiet roads or stroll down to the nearby lagoon, which is visible from the house.
