Descriptions of the different types of yoga classes.
Yin Yoga & Somatics

Yin Yoga and Somatics is practical, relaxing and therapeutic. It includes strengthening effects aimed at stimulating the connective tissues. It is a great companion for vigorous yoga.
Each class contains new and changing elements that are designed to improve the curiosity and creativity of its students. Simultaneously, the yoga classes & somatics provide a degree of continuity to allow practitioners to become familiar with its content. We deconstruct the asanas. Then we move to warm the body in a conscious way and maintain postures for a long time, but we still add very smooth flows. All this helps to release tensions, recover body movement and calm the mind. We finish each class with a brief meditation.
Wednesday: 19:00 – 20:00
Hatha Flow

This class is designed for those who have some practice in yoga or movement.
Each class is well prepared and thought of in advance with adaptations for challenging postures. We begin with short meditation. Then we awaken the body with asanas (postures) and soft movements. Then we enter sequences of movements in which we can use accessories or modifications, to ensure that mind-body are prepared to maintain positions or continue with the movement.
Finally, we close with postures to calm down and we finish with final relaxation to assimilate and ready to take yoga off the mat. All classes include elements of breathing (Pranayama) and somatic (connecting with body sensations).
Monday: 19:45 – 20:45
Tuesday: 19:15 – 20:15
Thursday 19:15 – 20:15
Yoga Flow & Somatics

These classes will help you develop your own practice in a very safe way.
Ideal for beginners and for those who wish to return to practice yoga or take their yoga to a deeper level. Here we alternate Yoga Flow classes similar to Hatha Flow but less demanding and Restorative Yoga (Yoga with accessories support with little movement ideal to relax nervous system and combat stress). Or we do a combination of both. The objective is to help us discover and explore what works best for each one of us and make us aware of the possible limitations or progress in our practice. I add breathing techniques (Pranayama), meditation or mudras * to my classes, making sure they are always interesting.
Tuesday: 18:00 – 19:00
Thursday: 18:00 – 19:00
YIN Yoga for healthy ageing

Yin Yoga Somatics for healthy ageing is a yoga that benefits both young and old, the first will help them establish a solid foundation to promote their physical, mental and emotional health throughout life.
The somatic approach (perceiving the body from within) helps us to more consciously approach our bodies to recover or maintain strength, flexibility, balance, agility, and stress management, among others. They are classes or individual sessions that offer a safe yoga program with postures, breathing practices, meditation and some philosophy of yoga. The modalities vary: from yoga in the chair, yoga relaxation, movement sequences and somatic movements. These last help to create your own routine, release muscle tension through the change of movement patterns that limit your mobility and ability to relax and be in more contact with your body and the environment.
